Miss Winifred Tilley

Winifred Tilley came out from England to Brazil in 1924. She was a teacher at St. Paul´s and for some time in 1925 helped out with a Cub Pack.

Winifred Tilley was the first wife of Cyril Hugh Murdoch. They had one son Norton Murdoch a Carajás scout in the 1940s. Winifred died in 1937 and Cyril Murdoch married Joan Murdoch who had 2 sons. Hugh Murdoch a cub Scout in the 1950s and Gillian Murdoch. Gillian has 3 sons with the Carajás: Jonathan, Thomas and Matthew Govier
